Silversmiths

The Sherrill Silversmiths play in the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL). Based in Sherrill, a small city in Oneida County, New York, the Silversmiths were established in 2009. Named after the city's rich history in the silver and manufacturing industries, the team embodies a spirit of craftsmanship and excellence.

"For the last two years my son and I have opened our home to the Smitties. Only a few days into our first summer with our two baseball players we knew we had made the best decision. The next summer we were blessed again with the same two boys, Edem and Chris, as well as a young man named Alan. My son, who is an only child, had three, "big brothers," who took him to the batting cages, played wiffleball and basketball, and made him feel so loved. We continue to talk with our three boys and see them whenever we possibly can. They are, and always will be, family."
